The Lunario was the home of the monks of Belfiore and for over a hundred years it was their summer residence. Here the monks prepared a wine renowned for the perfume and aroma of the Etna vines.
During the Second World War, the Lunario was transformed into a refuge and, after a long period of neglect, it was reborn. A restyling work thanks to the intervention of the current manager who adapts the Lunario to a Location for receptions. However, the architecture of the Lunario remains unchanged, preserving the evocative charm of a historic place.
The magical places of this wedding location
The park envelops the villa in a sweet embrace and the centenary trees, inside, give the Lunario a special charge of magic. In addition, the venue for receptions features a large swimming pool with jets and waterfalls.
The wedding location is characterized by an imposing lava stone fence. You can see the large covered terrace with a wooden arched structure and the exposed oven in ancient terracotta. In the lower part, once the cellar that kept the wine produced by the monks, today we find a suggestive disco bar.
Even the old stable is now totally adapted to an outbuilding. Here we find a Jacuzzi and a Mediterranean bath. A natural cave welcomes a love nest for the newlyweds who will choose this location. Every corner of the Lunario has been adapted to new needs, but without losing the original style and architecture.
